A mulled wine flow heater circulates wine through a heated chamber so that every glass is drawn at the same temperature without reheating a whole vat. The Evo unit from Neumarker maintains a steady output of warmed wine, letting staff serve directly from the tap rather than ladling from a bulk container.
Inside the stainless-steel body, a low-wattage element raises the wine temperature as it flows. A built-in thermostat cycles the element on and off to hold the set point between +35 °C and +85 °C, preventing scorching while keeping the spices aromatic. Because the wine is heated only while it moves, there is no standing batch to degrade or cool between services.
To operate, connect the inlet hose to a bulk container or keg, set the thermostat dial to the desired serving temperature, and switch on the power. Once the chamber reaches temperature, open the tap and draw wine continuously at up to 100 litres per hour. The unit remains on until the container is empty or the service ends, eliminating the need to reheat or stir.
The casing is stainless steel, chosen for corrosion resistance and easy cleaning. The footprint of 292 mm depth, 515 mm width and 490 mm height fits on a standard worktop or can be wall-mounted to free counter space. A three-phase 400 V supply is required, matching the circuits commonly installed in professional kitchens and event catering setups. The 30 kg weight allows two staff to move the unit with care, while the compact dimensions make it practical for temporary bars and mobile units.
A single thermostat dial controls the temperature; no other settings are needed. The 9 kW power rating reflects the load on the supply, so the circuit must be dedicated and correctly fused to avoid tripping during peak service.
After use, flush the chamber with clean water to remove wine residue and prevent scaling. The stainless-steel surfaces wipe clean with a damp cloth, and the absence of a holding tank simplifies daily upkeep.
The Evo model is offered in the standard configuration only; no variants or accessories are listed for this article.
This heater is catalogued under continuous beverage service equipment, alongside bulk coffee urns and hot-water boilers.
