A hose clamp holds flexible tubing firmly on a rigid connector, stopping leaks and keeping water or steam where it belongs. The band wraps around the hose and the screw tightens it evenly, pressing the hose onto the connector's barbs or smooth surface. This seal must stay tight under pressure and temperature changes, so the clamp's grip does not loosen during a wash cycle or when steam is generated.
To fit the clamp, slide it over the hose end, push the hose onto the connector until it bottoms out, then move the clamp to cover the overlap. Turn the screw until the band is snug; the correct tension is reached when the hose cannot be pulled off by hand but the clamp does not cut into the rubber. Once tightened, the clamp stays in place until the hose is changed or the connection is serviced.
The LF hose clamp 12-20 is made of stainless steel, chosen for its resistance to corrosion in wet, hot and detergent-laden environments. The screw mechanism allows fine adjustment without tools, so operators can secure hoses quickly during installation or repair.
This clamp fits a wide range of professional catering equipment, including dishwashers, glasswashers, cupwashers, boiling pans, pot stoves, bain-maries, convection ovens, steam ovens and pan-washing machines from ADLER, AMBACH, DESCO, DLER, ELFRAMO, EMMEPI, FAGOR, GIGA, GRANULDISK, HILTA, HOONVED, HORECA SELECT, IME OMNIWASH, KOMEL and LAMBER. The 12-20 mm range covers the diameters of most wash-down hoses and steam lines found in commercial kitchens.
Cleaning is limited to wiping off detergent or food residue; the stainless steel needs no protective coating and will not rust if rinsed after each use. The clamp is a single-size component with no variants; it is listed in the catalogue under spare parts for water and steam connections.
