A ceramic stove hob heats a smooth glass surface with electric elements beneath each cooking zone. The elements warm quickly and transfer heat directly to pots and pans, giving fast, even results without open flames. The glass surface stays cool around the zones, so only the cookware itself becomes hot.

The HOC30P has two cooking zones: one 20 cm and one 16.5 cm. Each zone can be set to one of nine power levels, letting the chef adjust from a gentle simmer to a rolling boil. A touch-sensitive panel at the front puts all controls within easy reach; a single tap changes the setting or starts the timer. The timer can be set for up to 99 minutes per zone and will automatically switch the zone off when the time expires, freeing the operator to attend to other tasks.

After cooking, a residual-heat indicator lights up on any zone that is still hot, reducing the risk of accidental burns. A child-lock function prevents the settings from being altered once the hob is in use.

The hob measures 288 mm deep, 520 mm wide and 55 mm high, fitting neatly into most worktops. Straight edges allow flush installation for a seamless look. The glass surface wipes clean with a damp cloth; there are no burners or grates to disassemble.

A total power rating of 3.3 kW means the hob requires its own dedicated circuit on a 230 V single-phase or 400 V three-phase supply. The unit weighs 3.9 kg, making it light enough for one person to lift and position during installation.
