A chest freezer that switches between freezing and refrigeration gives a single appliance two roles in the kitchen. The static-cooling system circulates cold air naturally, drawing heat away from stored food without a fan. This keeps running costs low and reduces frost build-up, while the thick insulation maintains the set temperature even when the room is cold. The freezer can be placed in a garage or storage area where temperatures drop to -15 °C, so it does not need a heated space.

The operator sets the desired temperature on the front panel: between -12 °C and -24 °C for freezing, or between +2 °C and +8 °C for chilled storage. Once the setting is chosen, the unit cools the interior and holds the temperature steady. The lid opens to angles between 45° and 75°, where it stays without being held, so both hands are free to load or unload. When closed, the lid becomes a flat work surface that takes the weight of light tasks. Inside, LED lighting switches on automatically, giving a clear view of every shelf and corner.
