This heating element converts electrical energy into heat by passing current through a resistive coil. In commercial fryers, the coil operates submerged in oil, distributing heat evenly to ensure consistent cooking results. Its circular design helps eliminate uneven heating areas that might otherwise affect food quality.
Installation begins with disconnecting the fryer from the power source. The existing element is removed by loosening its mounting bracket, after which the new element is placed inside the vat with terminals correctly aligned. Once secured, the fryer is reconnected and the thermostat adjusted to the desired temperature. The element then regulates the oil temperature automatically, enabling continuous frying.
The stainless steel construction resists corrosion caused by hot oil and cleaning agents. With an external diameter of 235 mm and an internal diameter of 217 mm, it fits standard vat openings in many professional fryers, providing a snug installation that minimises debris accumulation and heat loss.
The 4500 W rating reflects the electrical demand of the element. A 230 V supply is necessary to accommodate its current draw safely. This power level also influences how rapidly the oil reaches frying temperature, helping to reduce waiting times during busy service periods.
Maintenance includes removing the element from the vat and cleaning off oil residue with a soft cloth. Regular checks of the terminals for wear or oxidation support efficient heat transfer and reduce the risk of electrical issues.
This element serves as a direct replacement for compatible LF fryer models and may also fit certain commercial fryers from other brands where vat dimensions and electrical requirements match.
