A handwheel adjusts the height of the fryer basket above the heated oil without lifting the basket clear. The operator turns the wheel, which raises or lowers the basket on a threaded rod, controlling how far the food dips into the oil. This method gives even, repeatable submersion and keeps the operator's hands away from the hot vat.

To use the handwheel, the operator loads the basket with food, places it in the fryer, and turns the wheel clockwise to lower the basket into the oil. The wheel is turned anticlockwise to raise the basket when the food is done. The mechanism is self-locking, so the basket stays at the set height until the wheel is turned again.

The handwheel is constructed from stainless steel and plastic components designed for frequent use in a hot, wet environment. It attaches to the fryer with a bracket that matches the mounting points on specified HENDI electric fryer models.

Fits HENDI electric fryer models only.
