A mobile racking unit built to carry twenty-four full-size gastronorm trays 530 × 650 GN2/1 without flex or sway. The design keeps trays level so hot or chilled food stays secure during movement between prep areas, ovens, chillers and service points.

Trolleys of this type rely on a rigid frame and evenly spaced tray slides. The slides support the tray edges at regular intervals, preventing sag and allowing the operator to pull or push the trolley without spillage. Four swivel castors give manoeuvrability through tight corridors and around corners, while brakes lock the unit in place when it is loaded or unloaded.

Loading follows a simple sequence: unlock the brakes, pull the trolley to the stacking point, slide each tray onto its designated runner, then relock the brakes before moving. The same steps in reverse unload the trolley at the destination. No tools or adjustments are needed; the tray slides accept standard gastronorm sizes without modification.

The frame is constructed from corrosion-resistant materials, allowing daily exposure to steam, water and cleaning chemicals. The castors are sealed to prevent debris ingress and ensure smooth rolling across kitchen floors.

Overall dimensions of 1155 mm wide, 650 mm deep and 1732 mm high create a footprint that fits through standard kitchen doorways and service lifts. The height allows stacking of trays from floor level to just above eye level, keeping the heaviest items at waist height for safer handling.

Cleaning is limited to wiping the frame and tray slides with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Castors should be checked periodically for free movement and cleaned of any accumulated grime to maintain smooth travel.
