Glasswasher KASTEL FK38ESI

A glass dishwasher designed for frequent, gentle cleaning of barware and small tableware in professional kitchens. The machine uses high-temperature water jets from rotating stainless steel arms to lift residues without abrasion, preserving the clarity and finish of glasses even after hundreds of cycles. An internal pump draws fresh water, heats it to the required temperature, and circulates it through the arms; the same pump then drains the used water, leaving the tank ready for the next load.

The operator loads the 380 × 380 mm basket with glasses, cups or saucers up to 250 mm tall, selects a cycle on the electronic control panel, and closes the door. The machine fills automatically, heats the water, runs the wash and rinse phases, and drains. Cycles of 90, 120 or 180 seconds suit different workloads; a continuous mode allows back-to-back washing during peak service. A Thermostop system holds the final rinse until the set temperature is reached, ensuring consistent disinfection. Detergent and rinse aid are dispensed from separate electric dispensers, eliminating manual dosing.

The body is stainless steel with a partially double-skinned construction that reduces heat loss and operating noise. Inside, a preformed wash tank simplifies daily cleaning; an automatic self-clean cycle flushes the tank and pump at the end of the day. Water is supplied and drained through 2 m inlet and 2.5 m outlet hoses, and a non-return valve prevents backflow. A magnetic door microswitch stops the machine if the door is opened mid-cycle.

The 220-240 V, 50 Hz, 2.89 kW power rating requires a dedicated single-phase circuit capable of handling the load during the heating phase. The 440 × 497 × 640 mm footprint fits under most worktops, and the 34 kg weight allows two people to move the unit without a trolley. Two glass racks, a small cutlery basket and an insert for twelve saucers are supplied with the machine; a water softener is available as an optional extra.

Cleaning is limited to wiping the exterior, rinsing the tank, and occasionally descaling the heating element and arms. The stainless steel arms and tank resist corrosion, and the self-cleaning pump reduces manual maintenance.
