6 stainless steel tubular spits 12 x 12 mm, 760 mm
A gas chicken grill heats a vertical chamber with open flames, circulating hot air around suspended birds to cook them evenly without direct contact. The vertical arrangement lets heat rise naturally, browning the skin while keeping the meat moist inside. Each spit turns independently, so different cuts or recipes can be cooked at once without flavour transfer.
Load up to six whole chickens or other poultry onto the stainless steel spits, securing them with the prongs. Slide the spits into the motorised slots, close the tempered glass door, and set each spit's motor to run. The internal lighting lets you watch the colour develop without opening the door. When the skin is golden and the internal temperature is reached, remove the spits one by one and let the birds rest before carving.
The grill is built from stainless steel with ceramic insulation and rigid reinforcing ribs. A removable fat collection container sits at the base to catch drippings. The tempered Low-E glass door reflects heat back into the chamber while giving a clear view of the cooking process.
Each of the six spits has its own motor, so you can start or stop any spit without affecting the others. The control panel lets you switch the internal lighting on or off and monitor the gas supply.
A 24 kW gas input means the grill draws a substantial load, so it needs a dedicated gas line sized for commercial catering. The 230 V electrical connection powers the motors and lighting, plugging into a standard single-phase circuit. The 85 kg weight requires two people to move the unit safely, and the 921 mm width fits through most commercial kitchen doorways.
Cleaning involves removing the fat collection container and washing it separately. The stainless steel interior and spits can be wiped down with a damp cloth after each service, while the glass door should be cleaned with a non-abrasive glass cleaner to maintain visibility.
The 24P-ELBA model comes with six spits as standard; no other variants are listed for this article.
This grill is catalogued under professional poultry equipment for small to medium production.
