A refrigerator-freezer that keeps chilled and frozen goods at separate temperatures without manual defrosting. The refrigeration cycle circulates refrigerant through coils behind the cabinet, pulling heat from the interior and releasing it outside. A compressor drives the cycle, while a thermostat switches it on and off to hold the set temperature. The freezer section uses the same principle but cools to a lower range, creating the conditions for long-term storage of frozen food.

The operator loads fresh food onto three adjustable glass shelves and into a transparent vegetable drawer in the refrigerator compartment. A fourth shelf sits above the drawer, and three balconies on the door hold bottles and jars. The freezer section contains three pull-out drawers that slide out fully without tipping, each holding frozen goods at temperatures down to -24 °C. The door can be hinged on either side to fit the kitchen layout.

The cabinet is finished in white and measures 600 mm wide, 605 mm deep and 1860 mm high, fitting under most worktops. The interior is lit by horizontal LED strips that switch on when the door opens, illuminating every shelf and drawer without adding heat. The NoFrost system circulates cold air to prevent ice build-up, so the freezer never needs manual defrosting.

Three glass shelves in the refrigerator compartment are designed to hold heavy items and are easy to wipe clean. The door balconies include one enlarged shelf that accommodates 2-litre bottles and larger packages. The vegetable drawer has a transparent front for quick identification of contents. Freezer drawers have stops that prevent them from sliding out completely, reducing the risk of spills.

Controls are limited to a thermostat that sets the temperature in each compartment. The refrigerator section operates between 0 °C and 8 °C, suitable for fresh food, dairy and drinks. The freezer section cools between -8 °C and -24 °C, covering storage of frozen meals, ice cream and raw ingredients. The unit runs on a 220-240 V, 50 Hz supply, drawing 0.638 kWh over 24 hours.

The 210-litre refrigerator compartment and 83-litre freezer compartment provide a combined 293 litres of storage, organised for easy access. The 57 kg weight allows two people to move the unit into place without specialist equipment. The refrigerant is R600a, a hydrocarbon with low environmental impact.

Cleaning involves wiping the interior surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Glass shelves and the vegetable drawer can be removed for thorough cleaning. Door seals should be checked periodically to ensure a tight closure, and the exterior can be wiped down with a soft cloth.
