A freestanding freezer removes heat from the air inside and expels it outside, lowering the temperature below the freezing point of water. A compressor circulates refrigerant through coils; as the refrigerant evaporates, it absorbs heat from the interior, then condenses in the external coils and releases the heat into the room. This cycle continues until the set temperature is reached, after which the compressor switches off until the temperature rises again. The process keeps food solidly frozen without manual defrosting.

The operator loads food into the drawers and shelves, closes the door and sets the desired temperature using the mechanical control. The No Frost system circulates cold, dry air evenly throughout the compartment, preventing ice build-up and keeping food separate. When the door is opened, the interior light comes on, and the safety-stop mechanism keeps the drawers from sliding out completely. The reversible door can be hinged on either side to fit the room layout.

The cabinet is finished in white and stands on adjustable feet for stable placement. Inside, two glass shelves sit between four transparent drawers; the shelves can be removed to accommodate taller items. The refrigerant used is R600a, a hydrocarbon with low environmental impact.

A 206 litre volume provides space for several weeks' worth of frozen food in a professional kitchen. The temperature range of -10 °C to -43 °C covers both storage and blast-freezing processes. The unit operates on a 220-240 V, 50 Hz supply, the standard single-phase circuit found in British commercial premises. A weight of 53 kg allows two people to move the freezer without a trolley, and the 540 mm width fits through standard doorways.

Cleaning involves wiping the interior surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent, removing the glass shelves to wash them separately. The No Frost system eliminates the need for manual defrosting. The drawers slide out for easy access and can be lifted off their runners for thorough cleaning.

The freezer is supplied in white only and is designed for freestanding installation in kitchens, utility rooms or unheated spaces down to -15 °C.
