This refrigerated box maintains plated meals at a safe temperature during room service without requiring mains power. A removable chilling pack, placed in a condensate collection basket above the plates, absorbs heat from the insulated cavity. The pack keeps the interior cool for several hours, ensuring meals remain fresh during transport from kitchen to guest without spoilage or condensation drips.

To use, the operator inserts the chilling pack into its basket, positions the basket on the upper grid, and adjusts the two inner grids to the required height. Plates are placed inside, and the lid seals the cavity. The pack cools the air, which in turn chills the plates. After use, the pack is removed and refrozen for the next service.

Constructed entirely from AISI 304 stainless steel with a double insulated wall, the box includes two height-adjustable inner grids to secure plates. A condensate collection basket prevents moisture from dripping onto the plates.

Operation is straightforward: the lid opens and closes, and the grids slide to the desired height. The chilling pack is inserted and removed manually.

Weighing 14 kg, the box can be carried by one person between the kitchen and service area. Its packing size of 50 by 60 by 45 mm allows it to fit into standard worktop spaces and storage areas. The capacity accommodates two 32 cm plates, suitable for typical room service meals.

Cleaning is simple: wipe the stainless steel interior and exterior with a damp cloth, remove the grids and basket for separate washing, and refreeze the chilling pack after each use.

Designed to match the PLEIADI line of tables, the box ensures consistent worktop height and appearance. A UK type plug is available as an optional extra.
