The HELIOS air P2 from ROCAM provides overhead infrared warmth, freeing up worktop and display areas. Suspended from the ceiling, it directs heat precisely where needed.

Infrared heating transfers energy through electromagnetic waves, warming food surfaces directly without heating the air. This approach maintains moisture in sauces, juiciness in meats, and crispness in pastries. Radiant heat also preserves delicate garnishes and plating details.

Installation involves attaching the ceiling hook, connecting to a 230 V supply, and using the independent switch. The retractable cable extends or retracts smoothly, with a tensioning system ensuring it remains taut at any height. The lampshade comes in five finishes—chromed, brassed, copper, black nickel, or matte black—to complement kitchen or front-of-house aesthetics.

Constructed with a lightweight aluminium frame, the unit includes a stainless-steel ceiling ring and cable-tensioning mechanism. The lamp holder is available in three shapes, each compatible with either a white or red infrared element. With a 0.25 kW power rating, it draws minimal current, making it suitable for additional warming stations without needing a dedicated circuit.

Weighing 2 kg, the lamp can be hung from standard ceiling hooks without extra support. The lamp body measures 160 mm in diameter, and its adjustable height suits most commercial ceilings.

Maintenance is straightforward: wipe the lampshade and holder with a damp cloth, avoiding contact with the infrared element. The retractable cable can be cleaned with a mild detergent and dried before retraction.

Options include a choice of white or red infrared lamps and the five lampshade finishes. An optional red infrared lamp (RL) is available for kitchens preferring a warmer visual effect.
