A ceiling-suspended infrared heat lamp keeps food warm without using worktop space. The ROCAM HELIOS air P1 emits radiant heat downward, gently warming the surface of plated dishes, buffet items or pastries. Heat penetrates only a few millimetres, ensuring the top layer remains warm while the interior stays at serving temperature without drying out.

The lamp hangs from a ceiling-mounted ring and adjusts in height between 800 mm and 1,700 mm above the work surface. A retractable cable with a built-in tensioning system lets the operator pull the lamp to the desired position, lock it, and return it to storage height when not needed. An independent on-off switch on the lamp body controls power without affecting the ceiling connection.

To operate, lower the lamp to the required height, switch it on, and place food beneath. The infrared element reaches operating temperature quickly, providing immediate warmth. After use, switch off the lamp and allow the cable to retract, clearing overhead space.

The unit features a metal lampshade available in chromed, brassed, copper, black nickel or matte black finishes. A ceramic lamp holder accepts either white or red infrared bulbs. Mounting hardware includes a stainless-steel ceiling ring and cable tensioner. The entire assembly weighs 2 kg, suitable for standard ceiling fixings.

With a 0.25 kW power rating, the lamp draws a modest load from a 230 V single-phase circuit, fitting most professional kitchen setups. The packed dimensions simplify storage and transport.

Cleaning involves wiping the lampshade and lamp holder with a damp cloth once cooled. Periodically inspect the retractable cable for kinks or fraying and check the ceiling ring for secure attachment.

Options include selecting a lampshade colour and fitting a red infrared lamp instead of the standard white one. Designed for professional catering, it belongs to ROCAM's air-series heat lamps.
