for heating element
A flat gasket creates the seal between the boiler and the group head in a professional espresso machine. It sits under compression, preventing steam and hot water from escaping while the machine builds pressure for extraction. Over time, the gasket hardens and loses its flexibility, so it must be replaced to keep the seal tight and the machine safe.
The operator removes the old gasket, cleans the seating groove, and presses the new gasket into place. No adhesive is needed; the shape and compression hold it secure. Once fitted, the gasket is out of sight but critical to the machine's operation, ensuring consistent pressure and preventing leaks that could scald staff or damage the machine.
This LF gasket is cut to the exact dimensions required by SAN MARCO coffee machines, matching the groove profile so it seats evenly without distortion. The material is chosen for heat resistance and durability under constant pressure cycles, though it will eventually need replacement as part of routine maintenance.
Fits SAN MARCO models 100, 105, 85, and 95. Supplied as a single flat gasket, 50 mm by 40 mm by 2 mm thick.
