A female gear with four teeth transmits power inside commercial coffee and spice grinders. The gear meshes with a matching male drive gear attached to the motor shaft. As the motor turns, the male gear rotates the female gear, which in turn drives the burr set or blade assembly. This indirect drive reduces strain on the motor, smooths out torque fluctuations and allows the grinder to run at the precise speed needed for consistent particle size.
To replace the gear, the operator first disconnects the grinder from the power supply. The hopper and grinding chamber are removed to expose the gear housing. The old gear is unbolted or unclipped, the new LF female gear is seated on its shaft, and the housing is reassembled. Once the hopper is refitted and the grinder is reconnected, a short test run confirms the gears mesh correctly and the burrs turn freely.
The gear is manufactured as a single component, ready to fit the specified FIMAR and CEADO models without modification. It is a direct replacement for the original part, ensuring the grinder returns to its original performance.
This spare part fits FIMAR TFA3P grinders and a range of CEADO models: XB403, CL100, CL190, CL99 A, G110, B1, B107, B203, B209, B210, B98, B98-2, B98R, X1, X1 CU, X3, X3 USA, XB409, XB409 USA, XB98 and XB98 USA.
In the catalogue, the gear is listed under grinder spares for professional catering equipment.
