An electric soup kettle holds pre-cooked liquids at serving temperature without further cooking. The heating element sits inside a water-filled jacket that surrounds the inner soup tank. Heat transfers evenly from the water jacket to the stainless steel tank, preventing hot spots and keeping the contents warm without scorching or drying out. This indirect method is designed for warm holding, not for raising the temperature of cold food.
To use the kettle, fill the water jacket to the stamped maximum line—about one and a half litres—then lower the stainless steel soup tank into place. Pour the pre-heated liquid into the tank, close the two-piece tempered glass lid, and set the desired temperature on the digital panel. The display shows the current temperature, the set point, and the elapsed operating time. Once the temperature is reached, the kettle maintains it automatically. The last setting is stored in memory and recalled each time the unit is switched on, so the operator does not need to reset it for each service.
The body is made of high-temperature-resistant polypropylene, while the removable inner tank and heating element are stainless steel AISI 304. The lid has an insulated handle, a cut-out for a cook's spoon, and aluminium hinges. A built-in card holder on the lid holds product name cards for clear labelling. The two-piece lid design reduces heat loss when opened, helping to maintain consistent temperature and hygiene.
The digital control panel allows temperature selection from 35 to 85 °C in one-degree increments. The 0.5 kW power rating means the kettle can be connected to a standard 230 V circuit without overloading kitchen supplies. The 8-litre volume provides enough capacity for batch service while keeping the footprint compact—365 mm in diameter and 325 mm high—so it fits on most worktops or mobile trolleys.
Cleaning is straightforward: the stainless steel tank lifts out for washing, and the water jacket can be drained and wiped down. The tempered glass lid and polypropylene body can be cleaned with standard kitchen sanitiser without risk of corrosion or heat damage.
The kettle is designed solely for warm holding, not for cooking or reheating cold liquids.
