terminal block electric connections
with STAINLESS steel edge
for electric cooking top
A solid electric hot plate delivers focused heat directly to pots and pans without open flames. The element beneath the circular surface heats the metal disc evenly; the disc then conducts that heat straight into the base of the cookware. Because the heat is concentrated on the plate itself, energy is not wasted warming the surrounding air, and the kitchen stays cooler than with gas burners.
To use the plate, connect the terminal block to a 230 V supply, place a pot or pan on the 220 mm surface and switch on. The element warms the plate quickly; once the desired temperature is reached, the operator can adjust the power setting to maintain it. When cooking is finished, the plate is switched off and allowed to cool before any cleaning.
The plate is a single 220 mm disc of heavy-duty metal, mounted in a frame that protects the terminal block connections. The 2600 W rating draws a steady load from the electrical circuit, so it should be connected to a dedicated spur or a circuit that serves only similar appliances to avoid tripping the supply.
Cleaning is straightforward: after the plate has cooled, wipe the surface with a damp cloth and mild detergent to remove food residue. The terminal block should be kept dry and inspected periodically to ensure the connections remain tight.
This 220 mm electric hot plate is a direct replacement for the heated surface on a wide range of professional equipment, including Angelo Po boiling pans and hot plates, Berto's, Desco, Dexion, Emmepi, Fagor, Giga, Hobart, Küppersbusch, Lotus, Mareno, MBM, Modular, Offcar, Oztiryakiler, Silko, Tecnoinox, Whirlpool and Zanussi models.
