MODEL "ECODESIGN"
terminal block electric connections
with STAINLESS steel edge 8 mm
for electric cooking top
A solid electric hot plate transfers heat directly to pots and pans without an open flame. The circular heating element beneath the plate surface reaches high temperatures quickly, concentrating heat on the base of the cookware. This method gives fast, even heating for boiling, simmering or frying, and the flat surface makes it easy to slide pots on and off without spills.
To use the plate, place it into the hob cut-out and secure it according to the appliance instructions. Plug the unit into a 230 V supply; the plate draws 1500 W, so it requires its own dedicated circuit in a professional kitchen. Switch the appliance on and the plate will heat to operating temperature within minutes. Place the pot or pan on the 180 mm surface and adjust the heat setting on the main appliance. When cooking is finished, turn the appliance off and allow the plate to cool before cleaning.
The plate is designed as a direct replacement for specific models of KÜPPERSBUSCH, LOTUS and MODULAR electric hobs and pot stoves. It fits into the existing cut-out and connects to the appliance's electrical supply without modification. The 230 V rating matches the standard voltage in British commercial kitchens, so the plate integrates with the existing wiring.
Cleaning is straightforward: once the plate has cooled, wipe the surface with a damp cloth to remove food residue. Do not immerse the plate in water or use abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the heating element. Regular cleaning prevents build-up and keeps the plate operating efficiently.
This LF hot plate is listed in the catalogue under replacement parts for electric hobs and pot stoves.
