Electric cooker with 2 x 2,6 kW burners with open stand
An electric stove for professional kitchens that delivers concentrated heat through two heavy cast-iron hot plates, each controlled by a six-stage thermostat plus an off position. The plates sit flush on a pressed stainless-steel worktop that traps spills in a moulded recess, keeping the cooking surface clean and safe.
Electric hot plates convert current directly into heat via embedded resistance elements. The cast-iron construction spreads the heat evenly across the 300 mm surface, eliminating cold spots and allowing consistent searing, boiling or simmering. A built-in safety device cuts power if the plate exceeds its safe operating temperature, preventing damage and fire risk. Indicator lights above each burner show when the element is live, so staff can see at a glance which plates are in use.
To start cooking, the operator selects the desired power level on the rotary knob—from gentle simmer to full boil—then lowers pans onto the hot plate. The six settings plus off give precise control over heat output, letting the same burner handle delicate sauces or rapid frying. When the pan is removed, the plate cools quickly, ready for the next task. The open stand raises the unit to a comfortable working height, reducing strain during long service.
The worktop is pressed from 1 mm AISI 304 stainless steel, chosen for its resistance to corrosion and easy cleaning. Rounded corners and a continuous rim around the edge prevent liquids from spilling onto the floor. Each 2.6 kW hot plate is permanently sealed to the worktop, ensuring no water can reach the electrical components beneath.
Controls consist of two rotary knobs, one for each burner, marked with the six power levels and an off position. The knobs are positioned at the front for easy reach, even when multiple pans are in use.
A 5.2 kW power rating means the stove requires a dedicated 400 V three-phase circuit, common in commercial kitchens. The 45 kg weight keeps the unit stable on the floor, while the 400 mm depth and 714 mm width fit neatly into standard worktop runs. The 850 mm height matches most professional counter heights, allowing seamless integration with adjacent equipment.
Cleaning is straightforward: the stainless-steel worktop can be wiped down with a damp cloth and mild detergent, while the cast-iron plates are cleaned with a non-abrasive pad once cooled. The recessed rim collects spills, which can be tipped into a drain or bucket without spreading across the work surface.
The MAGISTRA PLUS 700 is supplied as a single unit with open stand, ready for connection to a 400 V three-phase supply.
