This professional electric stove with a ceramic surface is designed with functionality, durability, and ease of use in mind for intensive working environments.
2 cooking zones with a power of 3,0 kW
A ceramic cooktop heats pans by radiant elements beneath a smooth, sealed surface. Electric coils or ribbons warm the ceramic plate, which then transfers heat evenly to the base of pots and pans. This method avoids open flames, reduces hot spots and keeps the worktop cooler around the cooking zones. The ceramic layer also reflects heat upward, so less energy escapes into the kitchen air.
To use the CASTA LADYQ 900, place the pan on one of the marked zones. Turn the corresponding knob to the desired power level; the ceramic surface will glow as it heats. The serigraphed outlines show the active area, so pans sit exactly where the heat is strongest. Once cooking is complete, return the knob to zero and lift the pan off. The surface stays hot for a short time, so a residual-heat indicator is not needed—standard kitchen caution applies.
The entire unit is built from AISI 304 stainless steel with a Scotch Brite finish, chosen for its resistance to corrosion and ease of cleaning. The cooking surface itself is a single ceramic sheet that can be wiped down once it has cooled. Below the ceramic, electric heating elements are sealed, protecting them from spills and making the interior easier to maintain. Adjustable stainless-steel legs allow the cooktop to be levelled on uneven floors or raised to match adjacent worktops.
Controls are two rotary knobs, one for each 3.0 kW heating zone. Each knob sets the power output from low to full, giving precise control over simmering, boiling or frying. The knobs are made from a heat-resistant composite that stays cool to the touch, reducing the risk of burns during operation.
A 400 V 3-phase supply is required, which is standard in professional kitchens for high-power appliances. The 900 mm width fits into most commercial worktop runs, while the 400 mm depth leaves room for splashbacks and utensils. The 850 mm height, including legs, matches typical under-counter cupboards, so the unit can be installed flush with existing surfaces.
Cleaning is straightforward: once the ceramic surface has cooled, wipe it with a damp cloth and mild detergent. The stainless-steel cabinet and legs can be cleaned with standard kitchen sanitising solutions. The sealed heating elements mean no internal cleaning is necessary, and the smooth surfaces prevent food debris from accumulating in crevices.
The LADYQ 900 is supplied as a single unit with a neutral cabinet, ready for installation into a commercial kitchen worktop or counter run.
