A gyros grill rotates stacked meat on a vertical spit while radiant heat cooks the outer layer evenly. Four heating elements surround the spit, concentrating heat where the meat turns. The elements glow red-hot, browning the surface without drying the inside, so each slice stays juicy and caramelised. Because the heat comes from all sides, the grill does not need a fan; the rotation itself carries every portion through the same hot zone, giving consistent results across the whole spit. To operate the GHIV4, the operator loads the seasoned meat onto the vertical rod, securing it with the retaining forks. The spit is then locked into the motorised hub at the base. The four heating elements are switched on and allowed to reach full temperature. Once the elements glow steadily, the motor is started, rotating the spit slowly. The operator monitors the browning and adjusts the distance between the spit and the elements if the model allows it. When the meat is cooked through, the spit is stopped, the elements switched off, and the meat sliced directly from the rod onto serving plates. The grill is built from heavy-gauge steel, powder-coated for corrosion resistance. The heating elements are sealed in ceramic sleeves to protect them from grease and splashes. The control panel sits at the front, within easy reach of the operator. It carries a main power switch, a motor start/stop button, and individual switches for each of the four heating elements, allowing the operator to run all four or fewer as the load requires. An 8 kW power rating means the grill draws a substantial current, so it must be connected to a dedicated 400 V three-phase circuit with neutral. This is the standard supply in professional kitchens, but the circuit must be capable of handling the load without tripping. The 552 mm width and 650 mm depth give a compact footprint that fits on most worktops or stands, while the 1103 mm height allows the operator to load and slice without stooping. The weight of the unit keeps it stable during rotation, so it does not need to be bolted down. The sloped stainless-steel drip tray beneath the rotating spit collects grease as it melts, letting you wipe it clean between batches without disassembling the grill. The steel body wipes clean with a damp cloth. The ceramic sleeves around the elements can be removed and washed separately. The drip tray beneath the spit slides out for emptying and scrubbing. The motorised hub should be kept free of grease to prevent seizing, and the retaining forks should be checked for wear after each service. The GHIV4 is a single model; no variants are listed. It is placed in the catalogue under electric grills, alongside other vertical spit units.
