6 stainless steel tubular spits 12 x 12 mm, 960 mm
A vertical electric chicken grill cooks whole birds or large cuts evenly by rotating them in front of radiant heat. The spits turn continuously, exposing every part of the meat to the same high temperature so the skin crisps while the inside stays juicy. Because the heat comes from the sides rather than from below, fat drips away without flaring up, reducing smoke and keeping the flavour clean.
The 36P-ELBA from Elangrill holds six stainless steel spits, each 960 mm long and independently controlled. The operator loads each spit with birds, secures them with forks, and sets the motor to the desired speed. A separate switch starts the heating elements; the Low-E tempered glass door lets staff watch the colour and texture without opening the cabinet. When the cooking time is complete, the spits are lifted out and the birds transferred to a holding tray or carving station.
The cabinet is built from ribbed and reinforced stainless steel, chosen for its resistance to corrosion and high temperatures. The door is the same material, with a full-length handle and a magnetic catch that seals tightly to keep heat inside. Inside, a removable fat collection bucket slides out for emptying and cleaning, while interior lighting improves visibility during operation.
Each spit is driven by its own 230 V motor, so one spit can be stopped for unloading while the others continue cooking. The grill as a whole requires a 400 V three-phase supply, drawing 15 kW when all elements are on. The footprint of 1121 x 391 mm fits on most worktops or stands, and the 75 kg weight means it can be moved with a trolley but is stable once in place.
Cleaning follows from the materials: the stainless steel surfaces are wiped down with a damp cloth and mild detergent after each service. The fat bucket is removed, emptied and washed separately. The spits and forks are dishwasher-safe, and the glass door can be cleaned with a glass cleaner once it has cooled.
The 36P-ELBA is part of the Elangrill Elba series, designed for small and medium-scale production where space is limited but output must remain consistent.
