6 spits, 960 mm
An electric chicken grill roasts whole birds on rotating spits while hot air circulates around them. The heat radiates from ceramic elements behind a tempered glass panel, browning the skin evenly without direct flame. A motor turns the spits continuously, exposing every part of the bird to the same heat and preventing hot spots. The fat drips away into a collection bucket, keeping the meat moist and reducing flare-ups that can char the surface.
The operator loads up to six birds onto the 960 mm spits, secures them with the forks, and places the spits on the support shelf. The grill is switched on, and the ceramic elements heat the chamber while the motors start the rotation. Interior lighting lets the operator watch the colour and crispness without opening the door. When the birds are done, the spits are lifted off and the fat bucket emptied.
The supporting structure is ribbed stainless steel with ceramic insulation to retain heat and protect the outer surfaces. A tempered glass front allows visibility and easy cleaning. Two motors drive the spits independently through the Grill Plus System: one motor stops the wheels while the other turns the spit on its axis, ensuring even rotation even if the birds are unevenly loaded. Stainless steel wheels make the unit mobile, and a support shelf underneath holds spits, tools or trays.
The 10 kW power rating requires a 400 V three-phase supply, which is standard for professional kitchen equipment of this size. The footprint of 1211 mm by 666 mm fits a worktop or counter space, while the 735 mm height allows the operator to load and unload without bending. The 960 mm spits determine the maximum size of bird that can be roasted whole.
Cleaning involves wiping the ceramic glass and stainless steel surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent. The fat collection bucket is removed and emptied after each use to prevent build-up. The spits and forks are washed separately, and the support shelf is wiped down to remove grease or debris.
The 36P-ELBA is a standalone chicken grill with no stated variants. It is categorised under professional roasting equipment for catering kitchens.
