8 stainless steel tubular spits 12 x 12 mm, 760 mm
A vertical electric chicken grill rotates food on tubular spits in front of radiant heating elements, browning the skin evenly while the meat stays juicy inside. The vertical layout uses floor space efficiently, making it suitable for kitchens where worktop area is limited but output must remain steady.
Eight stainless steel spits, each 760 mm long, turn independently so that different cuts or species can be cooked at once. A separate motor drives each spit, allowing the operator to set individual programmes for chicken, duck or game birds without cross-contamination. The Low-E tempered glass door keeps the heat in and lets staff monitor progress without opening the cabinet, reducing energy loss and maintaining consistent results.
To start, the operator loads each spit with skewered birds, closes the door and sets the desired time and temperature for each spit using the front-panel controls. Once the programme begins, the heating elements warm the cabinet while the spits rotate slowly, exposing every part of the bird to the same radiant heat. Interior lighting illuminates the cabinet so that browning can be checked at a glance. A removable fat-collection bucket beneath the spits catches drippings, simplifying daily cleaning.
The cabinet is built from ribbed and reinforced stainless steel, chosen for its resistance to corrosion and mechanical stress under continuous use. The 400 V three-phase electrical supply delivers the 14.5 kW power needed to maintain high temperatures across all eight spits simultaneously. At 65 kg and measuring 921 mm wide, 391 mm deep and 1556 mm high, the unit fits through standard doorways and can be positioned against a wall or island without obstructing workflow.
Each spit is controlled by its own 230 V motor, ensuring quiet operation and allowing individual spits to be stopped or started without affecting the others. The removable fat bucket slides out for emptying and washing, while the glass door can be wiped down with a damp cloth after each service. The stainless steel interior and exterior surfaces are cleaned with non-abrasive detergents to preserve the finish and prevent corrosion.
