4 spits, 760mm
A chicken grill roasts whole birds on rotating spits, circulating hot air around the meat to cook it evenly and retain natural juices. The heat source beneath the spits warms the air inside the cabinet, while the rotation ensures every side of the chicken is exposed to the same temperature. This method produces a crisp exterior and tender interior without constant manual turning or basting, freeing the operator to prepare other dishes during service.
The Elangrill 24P-ELBA is loaded by sliding each bird onto one of the four 760 mm spits, securing the wings and legs with the supplied forks. The spits are placed onto the motorised supports inside the grill, and the tempered glass door is closed. The operator selects the cooking programme using the control panel, which starts the dual-motor Grill Plus System. This system drives the spits independently, allowing the wheels to remain stationary while the spits rotate on their own axes for consistent browning. Interior lighting lets the operator monitor progress without opening the door and losing heat. As the birds cook, fat drips into the stainless steel collection bucket beneath the spits, reducing flare-ups and simplifying cleaning.
The grill's supporting structure is made of stainless steel, chosen for its resistance to corrosion and ease of sanitising in a busy kitchen. The tempered frontal glass provides visibility while withstanding the heat inside the cabinet. A support shelf beneath the grill holds spits, forks and other accessories when not in use, keeping the worktop organised. Four swivel wheels allow the unit to be moved into position or stored when not needed, though the Grill Plus System's motors lock the wheels during operation to prevent unintended movement.
The 7.2 kW power rating indicates the load the grill places on the electrical supply, requiring a three-phase 400 V circuit commonly found in professional kitchens. The 1011 mm length, 666 mm width and 735 mm height define the space the grill occupies on the floor, including the support shelf and wheels. The four 760 mm spits determine the maximum size and number of birds that can be cooked simultaneously, allowing up to four standard chickens or smaller poultry per batch.
Cleaning involves removing the fat collection bucket after each use to empty and wash it. The spits and forks are taken out and cleaned separately, while the interior surfaces are wiped down with a damp cloth. The stainless steel construction resists staining and can be sanitised with standard kitchen cleaning agents. The tempered glass door should be cleaned with a non-abrasive cleaner to maintain visibility and prevent scratches.
The Elangrill 24P-ELBA is supplied with four 760 mm spits and a stainless steel fat collection bucket. The Grill Plus System with dual motors is a standard feature, as is the interior lighting and support shelf. This model is categorised under professional rotisserie equipment for commercial kitchens.
