4 stainless steel tubular spits 12 x 12 mm, 760 mm
A vertical chicken grill rotates food on spits above a heating element, exposing every side to radiant heat. The method browns the skin evenly, seals in juices and keeps the meat moist without constant turning. Four independently controlled spits let the operator run different items at once, each on its own programme of rotation and heat.
The operator loads raw chicken or other poultry onto the tubular stainless steel spits, secures the ends with the supplied forks, and slides the spits into the vertical slots. Each spit has its own switch, so one can be stopped for basting or removal while the others continue. The Low-E tempered glass door closes to retain heat and allow a clear view of the cooking process. A removable fat collection bucket sits below the spits to catch drippings and simplify cleaning.
The grill is built from ribbed and reinforced stainless steel, chosen for its resistance to corrosion and high temperatures. The door is made of Low-E tempered glass that withstands the heat inside and remains clear for monitoring. Interior lighting improves visibility and gives the unit a professional appearance.
Controls consist of individual on-off switches for each of the four spits and a master power switch. The 230 V motor drives the spits quietly and reliably.
A power rating of 7.2 kW indicates the load the grill places on the electrical supply; it requires a 400 V three-phase circuit. The footprint of 921 mm by 391 mm fits into a compact space on the worktop or floor, while the height of 818 mm allows it to be placed under standard kitchen extraction hoods. The four tubular spits, each 760 mm long and 12 mm square, determine the maximum size and quantity of poultry that can be cooked at once.
Cleaning involves removing the fat collection bucket, wiping down the stainless steel interior and exterior, and cleaning the spits and forks. The Low-E glass door can be cleaned with standard glass cleaner once it has cooled.
The 16P-ELBA is part of the Elangrill Elba series, designed for small and medium-scale production with a focus on functionality and durability in professional kitchens.
