4 stainless steel tubular spits 12 x 12 mm, 543 mm
A vertical rotisserie grill cooks poultry and other meats by rotating them slowly in front of radiant heating elements. The rotation exposes every part of the food to the same heat, so the skin crisps evenly while the inside stays juicy. Because the heat comes from the sides rather than from below, fat drips away instead of pooling, reducing flare-ups and keeping the meat moist. The method is continuous: once the spits are loaded, the grill runs without turning or basting until the food is done.
The Elangrill 12P4-ELBA loads from the front. The operator slides each bird onto a stainless steel spit, secures it with the prongs, and places the spit on the motorised supports. Each of the four spits is controlled separately, so different meats or cooking times can run at once. The Low-E tempered glass door closes to keep the heat in and the kitchen cooler. Inside, a light illuminates the food so the operator can check browning without opening the door. A removable fat collection bucket catches drippings, making cleaning easier after service.
The cabinet is built from ribbed and reinforced stainless steel, chosen for strength and resistance to corrosion in a busy kitchen. The door is the same material, with a tempered glass panel that withstands the high temperatures inside. Four tubular stainless steel spits, 12 mm square and 543 mm long, hold the food and rotate on quiet 230 V motors.
The grill runs on a 400 V three-phase supply, drawing 5.6 kW. This power level keeps the heating elements at the right temperature for consistent results, even when the cabinet is fully loaded. The footprint of 700 mm by 391 mm fits on a standard worktop or counter, while the 818 mm height allows the operator to load and unload without bending.
Cleaning follows the construction. The stainless steel surfaces wipe down with a damp cloth and mild detergent. The fat collection bucket lifts out for emptying and washing. The glass door can be cleaned with a glass cleaner once it has cooled. The spits and their supports are removable for thorough cleaning and sanitising.
The 12P4-ELBA is part of the Elangrill Elba series, designed for small and medium-scale production where space is limited but output must stay professional.
