Electric planetary rotisseries are the ideal device for those venues needing to quickly serve chic ken, roast meat, and fries. Isola electric planetaries are equipped with Grill Plus system: this allows to lock the disks and rotate only the rods, in order to keep them close to the heat source and cook certain products more quickly with a considerable energy saving.
10 + 5 stainless steel tubular spits 12 x 12 mm, 1115 mm; 2 motors
A rotisserie chicken grill uses a motor-driven spit to rotate whole birds over radiant heat. The constant turning bastes the skin in its own juices, sealing in moisture while the heat penetrates evenly from all sides. Protected resistive elements beneath the birds generate steady, high-temperature radiant heat that crisps the skin without drying the meat. The method relies on balance: the motor must turn the load smoothly, the elements must hold their temperature, and the enclosure must retain enough heat to finish the batch without reheating the air each time the door is opened.
To start a cycle, the operator loads up to 105 birds of 1 kg each onto the spit rods, securing them with the split clamps spaced 1115 mm apart. The front tempered-glass panel is closed, the power switched on, and the desired temperature set on the indicator. Once the grill reaches the target, the motor engages, rotating the spit at a constant speed. The interior lighting lets the operator watch the colour and texture of the skin without opening the door, so the heat stays inside and the cooking time remains predictable. When the birds reach the correct internal temperature, the grill is switched off, the spit stopped, and the birds removed while still on the rods to keep them intact.
The grill is built as a stainless-steel cabinet on a welded frame. The front and rear panels are tempered glass that open on hinges, giving full access to the cooking chamber and the removable fat tray beneath. The resistive elements are mounted under the birds, shielded by a perforated stainless-steel plate that spreads the heat and catches drips. The Grill Plus motor is mounted outside the heated zone, driving the spit through a sealed bearing. A temperature indicator on the control panel shows the current chamber temperature, and the interior lighting is a long-life LED strip.
A 22.5 kW power rating means the grill draws a substantial current from a 400 V three-phase supply, so it is installed on its own circuit with appropriate protection. The 190 kg weight requires a solid floor and a trolley for moving; once in place, the 1450 mm width, 773 mm depth and 960 mm height take a fixed worktop or floor space in the kitchen. The 105-bird capacity lets a single unit handle large batches without crowding, while the 1115 mm spit length matches the spacing of the clamps to keep the birds evenly distributed.
Cleaning starts with the removable stainless-steel fat tray, which slides out to empty and wash. The perforated heat spreader above the elements lifts out, exposing the resistive coils for brushing. The tempered-glass panels open fully, giving access to the chamber walls and the spit rods. The LED lighting stays on during cleaning, so every surface is visible. The Grill Plus motor and sealed bearing need no lubrication, but the exterior is wiped down to remove grease and dust.
The 105P-ESOLA is a single model; no variants are listed.
The product sits in the Elangrill catalogue under Professional Rotisserie Equipment, alongside larger and smaller chicken grills.
