9 stainless steel tubular spits for cooking + 8 for pre-cooking 12 x 12, 960 mm
A chicken rotisserie grill uses electric heating elements to radiate heat evenly around a rotating spit, cooking poultry uniformly while basting it in its own juices. The rotation ensures the meat stays moist inside and develops a crisp, golden exterior without constant manual turning. Ceramic insulation retains the heat, reducing energy waste and maintaining a stable cooking temperature throughout service.
The Elangrill 102P-ELBA Plus loads up to 102 chickens of approximately 1 kg each onto nine stainless steel tubular spits, each 960 mm long. An additional eight spits are provided for pre-cooking, allowing continuous workflow during peak service. The operator secures the birds onto the spits, slides them into the grill, and sets the power regulators to control the heat output. Tempered Low-E glass on the front panel lets staff monitor the cooking progress without opening the unit, while interior lighting highlights the food for better presentation and visibility.
The supporting frame is constructed from stainless steel for durability under heavy use. Ceramic insulation lines the interior to minimise heat loss, and a removable stainless steel fat collection bucket beneath the spits catches drippings for easy disposal and cleaning. Each spit measures 12 x 12 mm in cross-section, providing a secure grip on the poultry as it rotates.
Power regulators adjust the heating elements to suit different cooking stages, from initial searing to slow roasting. The 30 kW power rating requires a 400 V three-phase supply, typical for high-output commercial kitchen equipment. The unit's footprint of 1175 mm wide, 500 mm deep and 1836 mm high fits into standard worktop layouts while allowing overhead clearance for loading.
Cleaning involves removing the fat collection bucket, wiping down the stainless steel surfaces, and rinsing the spits. The tempered glass front can be cleaned with standard kitchen degreasers, and the ceramic insulation does not require regular maintenance beyond occasional dusting.
The 102P-ELBA Plus is categorised as a high-capacity electric rotisserie grill for professional catering kitchens.
