Easy-to-assemble construction, made of stainless steel.
A handing cabinet keeps plated dishes at serving temperature while freeing the pass for the next orders. The sliding door glides along a track, so the operator reaches in without swinging a panel into the aisle or knocking against a neighbouring unit. This design suits tight kitchen layouts where every centimetre of floor space is measured and every movement counted.
Inside, a low-wattage heating element maintains a gentle, even warmth across the entire cavity. The heat rises naturally, so the top shelf stays as warm as the bottom one. No fan is needed, which removes a source of noise and vibration. The result is a steady, quiet environment that holds plates, bowls and trays at the exact point between too hot to handle and too cool to serve.
To use the cabinet, the operator sets the desired temperature on the front-mounted thermostat. Once the cavity reaches the set point, the element cycles on and off automatically. Plates are loaded directly onto the shelves or into gastronorm trays that rest on the shelf runners. The sliding door is opened only long enough to place or retrieve a dish, minimising heat loss. When service ends, the thermostat is turned to zero and the door is left ajar to let residual heat escape.
The cabinet is constructed entirely of stainless steel, inside and out. The outer skin is brushed to hide fingerprints and minor scratches, while the interior is polished for easy cleaning. Four adjustable shelves allow the operator to organise the space for different dish sizes and service volumes. Each shelf is held by two shelf pins that slot into pre-drilled holes in the side walls, so the spacing can be changed in minutes without tools.
The unit measures 1400 mm wide, 400 mm deep and 600 mm high. The 1400 mm width provides enough frontage to hold multiple orders side by side, while the 400 mm depth keeps the cabinet within the standard worktop depth so it can be placed against a wall or under a shelf. The 600 mm height allows the operator to reach the top shelf without stretching, and the cabinet can be stacked with other modular units of the same height to create a continuous run.
Assembly tools are included in the packaging, and the cabinet arrives in a compact cardboard box that reduces storage space and transport costs. A protective equipotential pin is fitted to the body, ensuring the unit can be safely connected to the kitchen's earth bonding system.
Cleaning is straightforward: the interior and exterior surfaces are wiped down with a damp cloth and a mild detergent. The shelves and shelf pins are removed for thorough cleaning, and the door track is brushed to clear any debris that could impede the sliding action. The heating element is housed behind a removable panel, allowing access for periodic inspection without dismantling the entire unit.
