Easy-to-assemble construction, made of stainless steel.
A stainless steel central table creates a continuous work surface between kitchen stations, letting staff slide trays, pans and ingredients without lifting. The low height of 600 mm keeps the worktop at a comfortable standing level, while the shelf below holds trays or containers ready for the next task.
The table is built as a single unit with a shelf mounted between the legs. Adjustable feet on each corner level the worktop on uneven floors, and the shelf can be repositioned to suit the height of standard gastronorm trays or storage bins. A protective equipotential pin connects the frame to the kitchen's earth system, preventing static build-up and reducing the risk of electrical interference with nearby appliances.
Assembly begins with unpacking the flat-packed panels and laying out the legs, shelf and worktop. The included tools secure the legs to the frame, then the shelf is fitted at the chosen height. Once the worktop is bolted on, the adjustable feet are set so the surface is level. The table is then positioned between stations and connected to the earth point via the equipotential pin.
The construction is entirely stainless steel, chosen for its resistance to corrosion, heat and cleaning chemicals. The worktop is a single sheet with rolled edges to prevent spills running off, and the shelf is a perforated or solid panel depending on the variant. No welds or seams are exposed on the work surface, making it easy to wipe down after use.
The only control is the set of adjustable feet, which are turned to raise or lower each corner until the worktop is level. The shelf height is fixed once assembled, but can be changed by repositioning the brackets during maintenance.
A length of 2000 mm provides space for multiple tasks side by side, while the 700 mm depth allows two gastronorm trays to sit across the width without overhang. The 600 mm height matches standard under-counter equipment, so the table can be placed against a wall or between existing units without creating a step. The flat-packed delivery reduces transport bulk, and the included tools mean no additional hardware is needed for assembly.
Cleaning involves wiping the worktop and shelf with a damp cloth and mild detergent, then drying to prevent water spots. The adjustable feet should be checked periodically to ensure the table remains level, and the shelf brackets can be repositioned if storage needs change.
Variants include models with a perforated shelf for ventilation or a solid shelf for smaller items. The table is also available in widths other than 700 mm, though the 2000 mm length remains standard for this model.
This table is classified under stainless steel catering furniture in the GREDIL professional range.
