A drain pump removes wastewater from the dishwasher at the end of each cycle, preventing standing water that can harbour bacteria and slow the next wash. The Askoll M325 uses an electric motor to drive an impeller, which forces water through the outlet hose and into the building's drainage system. This positive displacement action ensures consistent flow even when the hose rises above the pump, a common requirement in professional kitchens where plumbing runs may be long or elevated.

To use the pump, the operator simply completes the wash cycle as normal. Once the final rinse water reaches the sump, the dishwasher's control board energises the pump. The impeller spins, drawing water from the sump and pushing it out through the outlet hose. No manual intervention is needed; the pump stops automatically when the sump is empty or the cycle ends.

The Askoll M325 is constructed to fit specific Angelo Po dishwasher models. It connects directly to the dishwasher's existing wiring and hose fittings, allowing straightforward installation without modification to the appliance or plumbing.

This drain pump is compatible with Angelo Po under-counter dishwashers KE560RA, KE70, KE70 A, KE70M and KE70MA, and with Angelo Po hood-type dishwashers KE130, KE130 A, KE130R, KE560, KE560 A and KE560R.
