for cups with volume of 350 - 950 ml.
A cup case designed for vertical glass storage and one-handed dispensing keeps bar and servery areas organised without cluttering the worktop. The unit holds glasses in a single column, letting staff pull the next glass from the top without reaching into a cupboard or lifting a lid. This method prevents chips and cracks that come from stacking glasses side by side or nesting them inside each other, while the open top gives instant access during service peaks.
Glasses rest on a spring-loaded platform that rises automatically as each glass is removed. The spring tension is calibrated to the weight of standard tumblers and pint glasses, so the next glass sits at the same convenient height every time. No manual adjustment is needed; the operator simply pulls the top glass free and the column rises to present the next one. The black plastic tip at the top cushions the rim of the glass, reducing noise and wear when glasses are pulled quickly.
The case is loaded from the top by lifting the entire column of glasses, placing the new glass at the bottom, and lowering the stack back into the tube. This sequence keeps the spring under constant tension and ensures the next glass is always ready. The stainless steel tube is rigid and self-supporting, so the unit can stand on any flat surface without additional brackets or wall mounting.
Construction is a seamless stainless steel tube with a black ABS plastic tip. The tube diameter of 112 mm creates a snug fit for glasses between 70 mm and 98 mm, preventing lateral movement that could cause breakage. The overall height of 612 mm allows the case to sit under most standard worktop overhangs or on a shelf above a drinks station.
No electrical controls or settings are required; the spring mechanism operates purely mechanically. The unit is compatible with tumblers, pint glasses, wine glasses and other stemware within the stated diameter and volume range.
Cleaning is limited to wiping the exterior tube with a damp cloth and occasionally removing the entire stack of glasses to wash the spring platform and the interior of the tube. The black tip can be detached for separate cleaning if needed.
The B55 is a single model with no variants; it is listed in the BHS-F catering catalogue under bar and beverage service equipment.
