Additional information

A ventilated freezer draws air across the evaporator coil and circulates it evenly through the cabinet. This forced convection eliminates cold spots and speeds up the pull-down of newly loaded stock, keeping every shelf at the same set temperature. The method also reduces frost build-up, so the unit can run longer between defrosts and use less energy for the same cooling load.

The FORCAR Eco Line G-EFV600G is loaded through a single full-height door. Four full-width shelves and one half-width shelf are supplied, each adjustable on vertical runners. The operator sets the desired temperature on the electronic panel, then the unit starts automatically. An internal fan distributes cold air across every shelf, while a sensor monitors the return air temperature. When the set point is reached, the compressor cycles off; when the temperature rises, it cycles back on. Automatic defrosting melts any frost on the coil at pre-set intervals, and the condensate water is evaporated by a built-in heater, so no manual draining is needed.

The cabinet is built from epoxy-coated steel sheet, with a galvanised rear and bottom for corrosion resistance. The interior liner is polystyrene, chosen for its insulating properties and ease of cleaning. A single blind door with a full-length handle seals the cabinet, and an interior light illuminates the contents when the door is open.

The electronic temperature controller allows the operator to set the freezer between -18 °C and -22 °C, covering the standard frozen storage range for most professional kitchens. The 480 W power rating indicates the load the unit will place on the electrical circuit, while the 220-240 V, 50 Hz voltage requirement matches the standard single-phase supply in British commercial premises. The 130 kg weight means the freezer is moved on a trolley or with two people, and the 775 mm width and 750 mm depth determine the floor space it occupies.

Cleaning involves wiping the interior liner and shelves with a damp cloth and mild detergent, then drying them. The exterior painted steel can be cleaned the same way, while the galvanised rear and bottom panels need only occasional dusting. The automatic condensate evaporation system removes the need for manual draining, and the automatic defrosting cycle reduces the frequency of manual defrosting.

The freezer is supplied with four full-width shelves measuring 650 mm by 527 mm and one half-width shelf measuring 650 mm by 297 mm. The unit is classified as energy class C under current regulations.

The FORCAR Eco Line G-EFV600G is listed in the refrigeration section of the professional catering equipment catalogue, under ventilated freezers.
