+2°C / +8°C Cold display with 1 grid. Delivery time ~ 2 weeks
A ventilated cold display cabinet keeps chilled food visible while maintaining safe temperatures. A small compressor circulates refrigerant through an evaporator coil inside the cabinet. The coil absorbs heat from the air, lowering its temperature. A fan then blows the cooled air across the shelves, ensuring even distribution and preventing warm spots. This forced-air system allows the cabinet to hold temperatures between +2 °C and +8 °C, suitable for dairy, deli items, and pre-packaged foods that need to stay chilled but not frozen. The operator loads the shelves through the sliding glass doors, which move smoothly on runners. A manual thermostat sets the desired temperature within the range, and the system cycles the compressor and fan to maintain it. The LED interior light illuminates the contents without adding heat, so the display remains bright and attractive. Manual defrosting is required periodically; the operator turns off the unit, removes the food, and allows the ice to melt, collecting the water in a tray that must be emptied. The cabinet is built with a stainless steel structure and double glazing. The outer shell resists corrosion and wear, while the double-glazed doors provide insulation and a clear view of the contents. A single wire grid, measuring 390 by 952 millimetres, is supplied for shelf organisation. The power rating of 180 watts indicates a low load on the electrical supply, suitable for a standard 220-240 volt, 50 hertz circuit. The weight of 84 kilograms means the unit is stable but requires two people to move safely. The external dimensions of 1310 by 510 by 550 millimetres define the space it occupies on the counter or floor, while the internal dimensions of 965 by 420 by 460 millimetres show the usable storage area. The seamless stainless-steel shell shrugs off kitchen splashes and fingerprints, so the cabinet stays spotless with a single pass of a damp microfibre cloth. The glass doors should be cleaned with a non-abrasive glass cleaner to maintain visibility. The wire grid can be removed and washed separately. The manual defrosting process also provides an opportunity to clean the interior thoroughly. The cabinet uses R600a refrigerant, a hydrocarbon with low environmental impact. The manual defrosting system and thermostat control are straightforward, requiring no automated programmes. The unit is classified as energy class C, reflecting its efficiency in maintaining low temperatures with minimal power consumption.
