The OMNIA 4DSP/FX uses a fan-cooled system: a compressor circulates refrigerant gas through an evaporator coil, and a fan draws warm air from the cabinet across the coil, removing heat. The cooled air is then pushed back into the display area, maintaining a steady temperature. This method ensures even cooling throughout the cabinet, preventing hot spots and keeping food at safe serving temperatures without drying it out.

To use the showcase, the operator loads dishes into the four GN1/1 gastronorm pans on the adjustable bottom shelf. The two rear doors with double glazing and automatic closing allow quick access for restocking. The digital thermostat is set to the desired temperature zone, ranging from +2 °C at the bottom to +8 °C on the top shelf, accommodating different types of food. The LED lighting illuminates the display, highlighting the dishes while generating minimal heat. The showcase runs continuously, with the automatic defrost cycle preventing ice build-up on the evaporator.

The structure combines a stainless steel frame with laminated wood panelling, available in a range of colours and finishes including powder-coated and overpanelling options. The public-facing side features fixed tempered glass, while the rear doors provide access for staff. Adjustable feet allow the unit to be levelled on uneven floors, and the removable bottom tank and condensate recovery basin simplify cleaning. The showcase is designed for built-in or freestanding installation, with optional accessories such as foldable dish holders, tray slides, and lower compartments available in laminated wood or stainless steel.

The 0.48 kW power rating indicates the electrical load the unit draws during operation, suitable for a standard 230 V single-phase circuit. The external dimensions of 1496 x 747 x 1720 mm provide a substantial display area while fitting within a standard worktop height. The 260 kg weight requires careful positioning, as the unit is not easily moved once placed.
