A stand-holder keeps trays upright, organised and within easy reach during food preparation, plating or storage. Instead of stacking trays flat, which takes up horizontal space and risks spills, the stand holds them vertically in slots. This method frees up worktop area, speeds access and lets air circulate around each tray, reducing condensation and cross-contamination.
The operator loads the trays by sliding them one by one into the slots from the front. Once in place, the trays lean against the back rail and are held steady by the side frames. No tools or adjustments are needed; the design relies on gravity and the weight of the trays themselves to keep them secure. When a tray is required, it is lifted straight out without disturbing the others.
Constructed entirely from stainless steel, the unit resists corrosion, heat and frequent cleaning. The material is non-porous, so it does not absorb food residues or harbour bacteria, meeting the hygiene standards of professional kitchens.
The footprint of 260 mm depth by 630 mm width fits neatly against a wall or under a worktop, leaving the central kitchen floor clear. The 250 mm height allows trays to be stored at a comfortable working level, reducing bending and reaching.
Cleaning is straightforward: wipe the surfaces with a damp cloth and a mild detergent, or use a sanitising spray. The open construction means there are no hidden corners where dirt can accumulate, and the stainless steel can be disinfected without damage.
This stand-holder is designed for 12 trays, keeping a standardised workflow in kitchens where multiple trays are used throughout service.
