This LF disc serves as a key component in ITV icemakers, linking the motor to the ice-making mechanism. It transmits rotational force from the motor to the internal assembly responsible for ice production, ensuring the ejector arms and water distribution system function correctly. Without this part, the motor's movement would fail to reach the necessary components, stopping ice production entirely.
When the motor operates, it rotates the disc, which drives the connected shaft or gear system. This action powers the cycle of filling the mould with water, freezing it, and releasing the formed ice cubes into the storage bin. The disc's placement at the motor's pivot point allows for efficient torque transfer, even as the motor adjusts its angle during operation.
Replacing the disc involves disconnecting the icemaker from the power supply first. The front panel or motor housing is removed to access the motor assembly. The old disc is detached from the motor shaft, and the new disc is aligned and secured in position. After reassembly, the icemaker is restarted, and the motor's rotation is checked to confirm the disc engages properly with the drive mechanism.
Designed as a direct replacement, this disc fits ITV icemaker models such as MQ200, Q130C, Q150C, Q20C, Q30C, Q40C, Q40S, Q50, Q50C, Q60, Q60C, Q90, and Q90C.
As a critical part of the ice production process, this disc helps maintain consistent performance in professional catering settings. Its compatibility with a wide range of ITV models makes it a reliable spare part for operators managing multiple icemaker units.
