This automatic cutlery dryer machine is designed to dry and polish the cutlery after washing it, getting it brighter and removing the water and lime marks.
A cutlery polisher removes moisture and restores shine to forks, knives and spoons after washing. The FRUCOSOL Cutlery Polisher 7000 combines sterilised corn granules with a heated air stream to lift water from the surface and polish each piece without manual labour.
Inside the drum, corn granules tumble against the cutlery, absorbing moisture and carrying away any remaining debris. A UV lamp sterilises the granules continuously, preventing bacterial transfer between loads. After the polishing cycle, a fan motor draws the granules back into the drum while a heating element warms the air, evaporating any residual dampness. The same fan then circulates the warm air through the cutlery, ensuring every piece emerges dry and ready for storage or immediate use.
To operate, load washed cutlery into the drum and close the door. The machine starts automatically, tumbling the granules and activating the UV lamp. Once the polishing phase finishes, the fan and heating element engage, completing the drying process. The cutlery is then removed, dry and polished, with no granules left clinging to the surface.
The unit is constructed from stainless steel, chosen for its resistance to corrosion and ease of cleaning in a busy kitchen environment. The fan motor is positioned at the end of the airflow circuit, reducing operational noise compared to models with centrally mounted motors.
Controls are minimal: a single start button initiates the cycle, and indicator lights show when the machine is in polishing or drying mode. The voltage range of 230–110 V allows the polisher to connect to standard UK or international power supplies without additional transformers.
The 0.85 kW power rating reflects the combined load of the motor, heating element and UV lamp, drawing less current than many commercial dishwashers. At 82 kg, the polisher is stable on the worktop but can be moved with a trolley when needed. Its footprint of 620 mm wide by 650 mm deep fits into most dishwashing areas without requiring additional floor space.
Cleaning involves emptying the drum of used granules and wiping the interior with a damp cloth. The stainless steel surfaces resist staining and can be sanitised with standard kitchen disinfectants. The UV lamp and fan motor require no daily maintenance beyond visual checks for dust accumulation.
The Cutlery Polisher 7000 is listed in the FRUCOSOL catalogue under dishwashing and hygiene equipment.
