A transparent acrylic cover shields cotton candy floss from draughts, dust and airborne contaminants while the machine spins. The rigid dome sits over the floss head, letting customers watch the sugar threads form without risk of stray hands or debris spoiling the product.
Cotton candy machines draw granulated sugar from a heated bowl, melt it and fling the liquid through fine holes by centrifugal force. The threads cool instantly in the air, forming a light web that collects on a paper cone. An unprotected head can lose heat to draughts, pick up dust or allow fingers near the spinning parts. The acrylic cover maintains a still, warm micro-climate around the floss head, keeping the threads fine and consistent while the operator works.
To use, the operator places the cover over the floss head once the machine reaches operating temperature. The cover rests on the machine rim, leaving a small gap for ventilation. When the batch is complete, the operator lifts the cover straight off and sets it aside until the next cycle.
The cover is a single sheet of clear acrylic, cut and formed to the stated dimensions. It weighs 4 kg, light enough for one-handed lifting but stable on the machine rim. The 650 mm width and depth match the footprint of the Econo Floss and Whirlwind machines, while the 320 mm height clears the floss head and allows the operator to reach underneath for cone placement.
Cleaning requires only a damp cloth to wipe the acrylic surface; no detergents or abrasives are needed. The cover should be stored flat or on its side to avoid warping.
This cover fits Neumarker Econo Floss (article L00-51551) and Whirlwind (article 0-51552 A) cotton candy machines.
