A cotton candy machine spins melted sugar into fine threads that collect into fluffy servings. The Econo Floss heats granulated sugar in a stationary aluminium bowl while a motor-driven spinner head rotates at high speed. Centrifugal force flings the liquid sugar through tiny holes in the head, where it cools instantly into strands. These strands build up around the inside of the bowl, ready to be gathered onto a stick or into a bag.

To operate, the operator pours sugar into the aluminium bowl, sets the heating level to melt it, and adjusts the motor speed to control the density of the threads. Once the bowl is hot and the sugar liquid, the spinner head is started. The operator watches the strands form, then gathers each portion by hand. Transport locks on the sides secure the machine during movement.

The casing is stainless steel, chosen for hygiene and durability in a busy kitchen. Inside, the motor and heating element are separately adjustable, allowing the operator to fine-tune the process for different sugars or humidity levels. A single spinner head with a 650 mm diameter bowl provides ample space for the strands to collect. The bowl and net are included; a cover is not supplied.
