A refrigerated trolley keeps prepared ingredients or plated dishes chilled while they move between kitchen stations or into service. Static cooling circulates cold air naturally around a single insulated well, maintaining even temperatures without a fan. This method avoids drying out food and reduces energy use, making it suitable for short-term storage during service rather than long-term holding. The R290 refrigerant cools the air inside the double-walled cabinet, while a digital thermostat regulates the temperature to prevent fluctuations that could compromise food safety or texture. To use the trolley, plug it into a 230 V supply and allow it to reach the set temperature before loading. Place up to two GN 1/1 pans, each up to 200 mm deep, into the moulded well. The rounded edges of the well prevent damage to pans and make cleaning easier. The ergonomic control panel faces the operator, allowing temperature adjustments without reaching around the unit. A lighting switch turns on an internal lamp for visibility when the door is open. When not in use, the twisted power cable can be hung on the built-in hook to keep the floor clear. The four non-marking corner bumpers protect walls and furniture, while the two silent polyamide castors with brakes secure the trolley in place during service. The trolley is constructed from AISI 304 stainless steel, including the exterior, well, and control panel. The double insulated walls minimise temperature loss, and a drain cock allows for easy defrosting and cleaning. The heat-proof push handle provides a comfortable grip, and the removable control panel simplifies maintenance access. Optional accessories include stainless steel dishholders, foldable tray slides, and dividers for GN 1/1 or GN 1/2 pans, which can be added to customise the trolley for specific workflows. The 0.352 kW power rating indicates a modest electrical load, suitable for standard kitchen circuits. The 230 V supply matches UK mains voltage, though a UK plug is available as an optional extra. The 66 kg weight ensures stability during movement but requires two people to lift safely. The 900 mm height fits under most worktops, while the 609 mm width and 873 mm depth provide a compact footprint for busy kitchens. The packing size of 120x80x110 mm refers to the crate dimensions for delivery. The seamless stainless steel well and rounded corners let you scrub away food residue without snagging a sponge or leaving hidden dirt behind. The drain cock simplifies defrosting by allowing melted ice to flow out without tilting the unit. The removable control panel provides access to internal components for deeper cleaning or servicing. Regular maintenance includes checking the castors and brakes for smooth operation and ensuring the door seals remain intact to preserve cooling efficiency. Optional variants include custom adhesive stickers for branding or identification, as well as modifications to the configuration, such as additional dishholders or tray slides. These options allow the trolley to be tailored to specific kitchen layouts or operational needs. The trolley is categorised as mobile refrigeration equipment for professional catering use, designed to hold and transport chilled food in GN pans during service.
