Holds up to 250 units. The diameter of the straws is 7 mm, length up to 220mm.
A stainless steel straw dispenser designed for hygienic, one-at-a-time dispensing of individually unwrapped drinking straws. The unit keeps straws enclosed until they are needed, shielding them from airborne contaminants and physical contact.
The dispenser operates on a spring-loaded mechanism. Straws are loaded vertically into the chamber, where a coiled spring presses them upward against a dispensing plate. When the front lever is pressed, the plate retracts briefly, allowing a single straw to slide forward into the dispensing slot. The spring then resets, blocking the next straw until the lever is pressed again. This controlled release prevents multiple straws from being taken at once, reducing waste and maintaining hygiene.
To use, the operator loads the straws into the top opening, ensuring they are aligned vertically. The lever on the front is then pressed each time a straw is required. The straw slides out of the slot at the base, ready for use. No additional settings or adjustments are needed.
The body is constructed from stainless steel, chosen for its resistance to corrosion and ease of cleaning. The front lever and internal spring are also stainless steel, ensuring durability under frequent use.
The dispenser holds up to 250 straws with a length range of 190 to 220 mm and a diameter of 7 mm. The 229 mm height, 114 mm width and 178 mm depth allow it to fit on most worktops or shelves without occupying excessive space. The compact footprint is particularly useful in high-traffic areas where counter space is limited.
Cleaning involves wiping the exterior with a damp cloth and mild detergent. The top opening can be removed for occasional interior cleaning, ensuring the spring and dispensing plate remain free of dust or residue. No special tools or disassembly are required for routine upkeep.
The T21E is categorised under beverage service equipment in the BHS-F catalogue.
