A capacitor stores and releases electrical energy in short bursts, smoothing the power supply to motors and control circuits. In professional dishwashers, glasswashers, coffee machines and grinders, this stabilises the current during start-up and operation, preventing voltage spikes that can damage sensitive electronics or cause motors to run unevenly. The capacitor charges when the appliance is switched on, then discharges as needed to keep the motor turning at a steady speed, even when the load changes.

To replace the capacitor, the operator first disconnects the appliance from the mains. The old unit is removed from its mounting bracket or clip, and the new capacitor is fitted in the same position, ensuring the terminals match the wiring. Once secured, the appliance is reconnected and tested under normal operating conditions. No additional settings are required; the capacitor begins working as soon as power is restored.

The LF Kondensator 10µF is constructed with a metalised film dielectric, sealed in a cylindrical aluminium case. The terminals are positioned at one end for straightforward connection to the appliance's wiring harness. The rated voltage of 450 V allows it to handle the higher demands of commercial equipment, while the 10 microfarad capacitance provides the correct energy storage for the motors and circuits it supports.
