A butcher chopping block cover shields the work surface from knife marks, moisture and food debris during meat and vegetable preparation. The cover sits directly on the block, creating a smooth, impermeable barrier that lifts away for cleaning once the task is finished.

The cover is cut from white polyethylene sheet, a material chosen for its resistance to cuts, stains and water. It does not absorb juices or harbour bacteria, so it keeps the underlying block hygienic between deeper cleans. The edges are left square and untrimmed, allowing the cover to lie flat without curling.

To use, place the cover on the block before starting work. After use, remove it, wipe both sides with a sanitising cloth, and store it flat or hang it on a peg. The 400 mm square size matches the FORCAR CCP8000 butcher block, ensuring full coverage without overhang.

Construction is a single sheet of polyethylene, 15 mm thick. There are no seams, joints or fasteners, so cleaning is limited to wiping the surface and edges. The cover is light enough to handle with one hand and rigid enough to stay in place during chopping.

The 400 mm width and depth provide a compact work area that fits on most butcher blocks and stainless-steel worktops. The 15 mm thickness adds stiffness without adding significant weight, making it easy to lift and reposition as needed.
