A bulkhead connector creates a sealed electrical passage through the wall of a convection oven, linking internal components to external power or control systems without exposing wiring to heat, steam or grease. The connector is mounted in a pre-drilled hole, with a gasket on each side to prevent moisture ingress and maintain the oven's IP rating. Once installed, it carries current reliably while the oven cycles through baking, roasting and proofing programmes, protecting the circuit from the high humidity and temperature swings inside the cavity.
To fit the connector, the oven is first isolated from the mains. The existing connector is removed from the bulkhead, and the new unit is inserted from the outside. The locking ring is tightened until the gaskets compress, forming a watertight seal. Wires from the oven's control board or heating element are then attached to the internal terminals, and the external leads are connected to the corresponding supply or control circuit. The oven is reassembled, tested for continuity and returned to service.
The LF bulkhead connector JG NC2500-P is constructed for continuous use in professional catering environments. It fits a standardised bulkhead aperture found on the listed Lainox convection oven models, ensuring compatibility without modification. The connector is a direct replacement for the original part, maintaining the oven's safety certification and performance specifications.
Cleaning is limited to the external surface: a damp cloth removes dust or grease, while the sealed interior remains untouched. No disassembly is required for routine upkeep, and the connector is designed to last the service life of the oven when installed correctly.
This connector is stocked in the catering spares section under electrical components for Lainox equipment.
