A control knob transfers the operator's setting directly to the shaft of professional catering equipment. The knob grips the shaft with an internal thread, converting finger pressure into rotational movement that adjusts temperature, speed or flow.

To install, the operator aligns the knob's threaded bore with the exposed shaft on the equipment panel. A clockwise turn tightens the knob until it sits flush against the panel, locking the setting in place. When the machine is adjusted, the operator turns the knob smoothly, feeling the resistance of the underlying mechanism. The 40 mm diameter gives enough surface area for a firm grip, even when hands are wet or greasy.

The knob is a direct replacement for the original part on Sirman catering equipment. It fits any machine in the Sirman range that uses a standard M8 control shaft, including mixers, slicers and food processors.
