An axial fan draws air straight through its blades and pushes it along the same axis, creating a steady stream without changing direction. In a convection oven, this stream carries heat from the elements around the cavity, so every shelf receives the same temperature at the same time. Without the fan, hot air rises and leaves the lower shelves under-cooked; the fan mixes the air and evens out the bake.

To replace the fan, the operator opens the oven door, removes the shelves and the back panel inside the cavity. The old fan is unclipped or unscrewed from its mount, the new one is positioned so the blades face the same way, and the electrical connector is reattached. Once the panel is refitted and the shelves returned, the oven is ready for service.

The fan measures 120 mm square and 38 mm deep, matching the mounting points inside APACH A1-series convection ovens. It is a direct fit for models A1-10HD, A1-10LD, A1-20LD, A1-6HD and A1-6LD.

This is a spare part for professional catering equipment and is listed in the oven spares catalogue under forced-air components.
