Asbestos-free flat gasket LF L3186010

A flat sealing ring that replaces worn gaskets in commercial coffee machines, convection ovens and dishwashers, preventing leaks of steam, water or hot air. The gasket sits between metal flanges and compresses under tightening to form a pressure-tight joint. Because it is asbestos-free, it meets current health and safety standards without sacrificing heat resistance or durability.

The operator removes the old gasket, cleans the mating surfaces, places the new ring in position and re-tightens the fasteners evenly. No adhesive is required; the seal relies on the controlled compression of the material between the two surfaces.

Constructed from a fibre-reinforced elastomer, the gasket is supplied as a flat ring 54 mm in outside diameter, 42 mm inside diameter and 2 mm thick. The material remains stable across the temperature ranges encountered in espresso machines, combi ovens and commercial dishwashers.

This 2 mm thickness is chosen to match the original equipment specification, ensuring the correct compression when the flanges are bolted together. The 54 mm diameter determines the size of flange it fits, while the 42 mm inside diameter clears the aperture through which steam, water or air passes.

Cleaning is limited to wiping the gasket with a damp cloth to remove any residue before installation. Once fitted, it requires no further maintenance until the next replacement cycle.
